Enjoy caber toss, Highland dancing, and pipe bands across 60+ events in stunning locations like Braemar and Stirling. There will be a street march competition; Grade 4B competition; Grade 4A competition;, Grade 3 MSR competition (Grade 4A bands can play up in this event); and a Grade 3 medley competition. The Atholl Highlanders officially open the Highland Games with a ‘March On’, led by the sound of their pipes and drums. Saturday 9th September 202316 Pipe Bands begin from the Street parade and enter Pitlochry Highland Games at Recreation Ground to begin the games. In 1996, Sir David Butter, KCVO, celebrated his 50th anniversary as Chieftain of the Games.
